Veterans and their families can learn about benefits and get guidance on filing claims at an Oct. 17 briefing hosted by the Schenectady County Veterans Service Agency in Niskayuna.
The session is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at American Legion Post 1092, 1809 Union Street, Niskayuna, NY 12309, according to the county’s announcement.
Topics will include VA disability compensation and ratings, pension and survivor benefits, VA health care enrollment, PACT Act and toxic exposure claims, and education benefits and the GI Bill. The briefing will also cover assistance with filing claims and the Veterans Peer-to-Peer Program.
